Apprentice:
Position requires 2 years minimum of work experience. Will be responsible for all requirements of trim work at jobsite with minimal supervision. Will work with a crew, must have positive outlook and team player attitude. Will do complete stages of wiring, as necessary and directed by Foreman. Basic Electrical knowledge. Requirement to be in school for Electrical training.

Journeyman/Wireman:
Requirements 2-4 years of Journeyman level, residential and commercial experience. Must demonstrate ability to install electrical wiring of a residence or commercial projects with minimal supervision. Work with a crew and must have team player attitude. Complete rough wiring of house or commercial project, as directed by Foreman. Certified or registered with State of California, to take Journeyman test.

Service Technician:
Requires 3-5 years of working experience. Responsible for handling all dispatched service calls. To install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, systems, and all related electrical controls on a 24 hour basis. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes to McGuire Electric, Inc. standards. Must have valid Driver’s License with Insurance. Will maintain work vehicle, as well as inventory of all electrical components for the job. Direct reports to Service Department Manager.

Foreman:
Requirements 4-6 years of Residential/Commercial experience. Must demonstrate the ability to run a residential or commercial project. Will have complete supervision of rough-in or final trim crew on all projects. Must have efficiency in ordering materials in a timely manner, start and end job with complete organization and leave job-site premise in orderly manner. Foreman will be responsible for the inventory of any unused materials. Directly reports to Superintendent. Must be a Certified Electrician through State of California.

Estimating Positions:
Requires 5-10 years of estimating experience in the electrical field as a Lead Estimator for an established electrical firm. Requires a track record of landing an average of 5 million per year. Please provide references.

Work Requirements
•All positions are Full-Time.
•Work Hours: 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, some Weekend work.
•Must have reliable transportation with valid Driver’s License and Insurance.
•Must have own hand tools and cordless drill.
•Required pre-screening interview by phone, following appointed interview.
•Random and Pre-Employment Drug Testing
